Our Women's groups are an active part of our church. Some of the activities that the women of the church
have been participating in are; women's retreats, the Community Blood Drive, pot-luck dinners, "MET
trips", Broadway plays, bazaars, the Annual Bridge/Card party and morning coffees.
Although our general actives are enjoyed by all, probably the most meaningful and long-lasting
satisfaction comes from belonging to one of the fellowship groups that fall under the umbrella of the
Women's Association.

* Group 9
The group raises money for projects around the church and reaches out to the greater community with
various activities and trips. We enjoy fund raising & cultural projects including museum trips, SCRIPS and
spring game party.

The group meets six times a year. Every woman in the church is welcome. Group Ten will enjoy a potluck
supper meeting at the home of Sylvia Ronning on October 5th at 4:30 pm. If you would like to join the

NEW PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
A new group has formed, knitting prayer shawls for people recovering from surgery, serious illness, new
mothers, those celebrating special occasion, grieving or just to commemorate the gift of love, friendship,
belonging or caring. Our prayers are woven into the stitches. We meet on the first Wed. evening of each
month at the home of Anne MacDermott, 7:30-9:30 pm

WOMEN IN STITCHES is an ecumenical group of women who enjoy needlework of any kind. We gather
once a month on the 2nd Wednesday from 7:30 - 9:30 pm at one another's homes. We bring with us our
project, a joke, and an attitude of gratitude.
