Founded in 1913, the church has from its very inception served as both a place
of worship and a practical resource for the whole of our service area. Our
facilities are readily available and many local organizations utilize them for
meetings, social functions, training sessions and so forth.

Our beautiful air-conditioned sanctuary, our intimate chapel, our spacious
fellowship hall and our staff are available for weddings, commitment ceremonies
and receptions regardless of any (or no) denominational affiliation. Persons of
other theological persuasions are always welcome.

The Church welcomes into its membership all who express the desire to
become affiliated, and who accept the spirit of its covenant.

As is the practice in the United Church of Christ, The Community Church is
governed by its congregation, whose members define and address its mission
and manage its affairs.

The Community Church is a strong family church.  Over the years many young
families have joined and contribute to the life of the Church through education,
worship, fellowship and service.  It is, however, a congregation of all ages.
Throughout the year the emphasis is on involving all ages in life, work and
ministry together.

The Church was founded in 1913 and continues to grow in strength and
service.  You are always welcome at The Community Church.  We invite you
and your family to share your interests, needs, skills, and concerns with us.  We
receive new members several times each year and welcome new friends every
Sunday.
